The day has come..Superman Returns!!!!

I want to go to Tampa and see him on the Imax screen, but for now I will go to my local theatre to see what seems to be a very powerful rendition of the Man of Steel!
After much ado Bryan Singer brings back our Big Blue in a movie that seems to be getting rave reviews. Even Wall Street Journal has jumped on the boat.
When I get out of work, I'll pop on over to catch the Man of Tomorrow do his thing with Lex.
So do not just sit around. Go out and set some records by making this "Return" a record breaking comeback.

one year ago today....

It was one year ago today that I sat down and wrote a story about Michael Turner the artist/creator of such wonderful stuff like Soulfire, Ekos, Fathom and now Shrugged. He is such a tremendous inspiration in the same league as Lance Armstrong. His cover are the most sought after and his work on such covers as the Superman/Batman Supergirl story ark were award winning and well worth it.
Now he's busy with the Civil War stuff and it looks totally amazing. I can't wait till I get my hands on his alternate covers. A bit more then the normal covers but boy those regular cover really suck.
I've been busy with my 2 other blogs Mr. Movie Buff and Port Charlotte's Web. Both have me very busy with my life's stories.
I did want to talk about Spidey's new costume. I like it and I thought I would hate it. It's neat how it can change appearance so if Peter wanted to go back to his old costume he can. But he's playing a major roll in the Civil War sp I can't wait for that.
Speaking of Civil War what was that cool twist at the beginning with Cap and Ironman playing against each other but having Cap against the law and Ironman for it. Nice twist Marvel.
I've finished Identity Crisis and that was just terrific. DC has really pushed itself into top place with their captivating stories. Superboy Prime was a truly remarkable character and a mind blowing villain as well as Alexander Luthor and the Joker being "mind blowing" as well.
The comics world is doing a great job...keep it up guys!
Thank you all for this wonderful year and helping me build another 2 blogs. It's a lot of fun and I look forward to another year of the same!

XMEN 3 - GOOD OR JUST A VICTIM?

IS XMEN 3 REALLY AS BAD AS THEY SAY? OR IS IT A VICTIM OF BRYAN SINGER BACKLASH AND WITHDRAWL?
I SAW XMEN AND DIDN'T LIKE IT. MY PROBLEM WAS THAT I HAD SOME JERK COMMENTING ON EVERY LITTLE ASPECT OF THE MOVIE THRU-OUT THE WHOLE FRAKING THING.
WHEN THE OPENING CREDITS CAME UP HE MENTIONED THAT THE MARVEL PART WAS GOING BY TOO FAST AND HE COULDN'T READ THE PAGES, OR WHEN THE PROF. X'S WHEELCHAIR WAS THERE HE SAYS "OH I WANT THAT" AND ON AND ON.
ALSO SOME COUPLE WITH A KID WAS CHATTING BEHIND ME LIKE THEY WERE IN THEIR LIVING ROOM AND THE KIDS SAYING "OH YOU CANT SEE THAT CLOSE YOUR EYES". IT WAS CUTE BUT NOT FOR A 10:45PM SHOW.
DID THIS MAKE ME HATE THE MOVIE OR WAS IT REALLY THAT BAD?
ALSO I AM SO PISSED TO FIND OUT THAT AT THE VERY END OF THE CREDITS THERE IS AN IMPORTANT SCENE. I ALWAYS WAIT TIL THE ENDING AND NOW I FEEL LIKE I WAS ROBBED!
So give Brett a second chance and see X-Men 3 again. You never know you could find a gem in a mountain of rocks.
See you at the movies.
